About Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is pressed from the pulp of the avocado fruit, not the seed. A method Mexican and Central/South American communities have used for generations to nourish skin and hair. A ripe avocado is typically 15–40% oil by weight, but because that oil sits in the soft pulp rather than a hard seed or nut, extraction has to happen once the pulp has dried out; otherwise it simply emulsifies instead of separating into oil.

It's a good nut-free option for formulators working around nut allergies, and its smooth glide on skin makes it a popular pick for massage oils. The oil's vivid emerald-green colour comes from a high chlorophyll content, which also makes it prone to photo-oxidising when exposed to light and air, it's best stored cool, dark, and tightly sealed to protect that one-year shelf life. Packing and Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in active use. Recommended storage temperature below 25°C. Refrigeration is acceptable for extended shelf life. Best before 12 months from packaging date. Natural sedimentation or slight cloudiness at lower temperatures is normal and does not affect oil quality.
