Aminodimethicone is a cationic-modified silicone conditioning agent widely used in hair care formulations. It provides excellent conditioning, smoothness and manageability while helping to improve the appearance and feel of damaged, dry and chemically treated hair.
It has a selective affinity for damaged areas of the hair, helping to form a protective film that enhances softness, shine, combability and frizz control without requiring high levels of silicone.

How to Use
Aminodimethicone can be incorporated into the formulation during the appropriate phase according to the supplier's technical specifications. It is commonly used in combination with cationic conditioning agents, surfactants and other hair-conditioning ingredients.
For emulsified conditioners and masks, it may be incorporated into the oil or silicone phase where appropriate. In shampoos, it can be added using a suitable pre-dispersed or emulsion grade to ensure uniform distribution.
