Product Description:

Marula Oil is a cold pressed carrier oil extracted from the kernels of the marula tree (Sclerocarya birrea), a tree native to the Miombo woodlands of Southern and West Africa. The marula fruit and its oil hold deep cultural significance across many African communities, where the oil has traditionally been used as a body and hair moisturiser for generations. The oil is pale yellow to golden in colour with a light, slightly oily scent and a smooth texture that absorbs gradually, leaving the skin feeling soft. Marula Oil is notable for its high resistance to oxidation, making it one of the more stable carrier oils available. At Maduras Herbals, we supply Marula Oil as a raw material for cosmetic manufacturers, DIY formulators, hair care brands, and skin care product developers looking for a stable, nourishing carrier oil from Africa.
